I particularly like their "Cotone and Lino" book (Cotton and Linen for those with rusty Italian). The shirtings in here come in bold candy stripes, a number of solid colors and some more conservative in an that Italian way, Checks and fine stripes.
The blend in these fabrics are quite distinctive and an unusually nice balance between cotton and linen. They don't crinkle like a pure linen making them quite serviceable as business shirts but they retain the cool properties of linen. The patterns are tight and the colors vivid, consistent with exceptional dying, finishing and a high thread count. I think these will be ideal for hot summers here in New york where wearing a good looking shirt with gravitas becomes more important as the suits are left at home.
Have a good memorial weekend everybody!
